Zen Shiatsu Therapy supports women carrying high levels of responsibility and commitment, particularly in periods of stress, exhaustion, and nervous system overwhelm. Precise, attentive touch engages the meridian system and supports the body’s natural capacity to reorganize from within.
Rather than adding more effort or control, treatment supports the release of nervous system tension, allowing steadiness and quiet strength to emerge. As energy is freed from chronic stress and survival patterns, clients may experience a renewed sense of agency, satisfaction, and connection with life.

Founded by Kate Kuut, Zen Shiatsu Therapy offers a natural approach to rest and recovery for women carrying high levels of responsibility and stress. It works without medication or supplementation, supporting the body’s own intelligence to return to balance.
Kate trained at the Zen Shiatsu Opleiding school in Amsterdam and completed advanced study in Amsterdam and Kyoto, Japan. She is British and lives with her family in Amsterdam.
The practice is based within Shiatsu Centrum Amsterdam, a shared space for independent Zen Shiatsu therapists. The space is intentionally quiet and calm to help you settle and unwind.
