Privacy Statement

In order to provide effective treatment, it is necessary for the treating therapist to create a file containing data personal to you. This is also a legal obligation imposed by the Medical Treatment Agreement Act (WGBO). Your file contains notes about your health and information about the examinations and treatments performed. Your file will be kept for 15 years in accordance with the WGBO. The file also contains information that is necessary for your treatment and that the treating therapist has requested from another healthcare provider, such as your general practitioner, with your explicit consent. We do our best to safeguard your privacy. This means, among other things, that we handle your personal and medical data with care, we ensure that unauthorized persons do not have access to your data. Your treating therapist is the only person who has access to the data in your file. Your treating therapist has a legal duty of confidentiality (professional secrecy). The information in your file may also be used for the following purposes: • A small portion of the information (name, telephone number, email address) in your file will be used for personal contact between you and the therapist (website contact form, text message or WhatsApp, telephone call, email). • To inform other healthcare providers, for example when the therapy has been completed or when referring you to another practitioner. This will only happen with your explicit consent. • For use by a substitute during the therapist's absence. • For anonymized use during peer review. If the treating therapist wishes to use your data for any other reason, they will first inform you and ask for your explicit consent. Privacy on the healthcare invoice The healthcare invoice you receive contains the information requested by the health insurer, so that you can claim this invoice from your health insurer. • Your name, address, and place of residence • Your date of birth • The date of treatment • Code 24102 for Zen Shiatsu treatment Rights regarding your data You have the right to access, rectify, or delete the personal data we have received from you. You can also object to the processing of your personal data (or part thereof) by us or by one of our processors. You also have the right to have the data you have provided transferred by us to yourself or, on your behalf, directly to another party. We may ask you to identify yourself before we can comply with the aforementioned requests. If we are permitted to process your personal data on the basis of your consent, you always have the right to withdraw this consent.
